Recently I found myself helping a friend move into a new place. This resulted in buying a lot of things that most of us either never think about, or don't realize we need. Simple things like shims, shoe racks, and fake plants and trees. I know, it sounds ridiculous but it's the truth. These little things can make life so much easier.
Over the next few days I will be telling you what I bought, why I bought it, and what my impression of it was. Fair warning, I was not happy with everything I purchased so I will even let you in on the items that are getting returned.
Also, can we take a second to appreciate how easy Amazon is to find everything you're looking for, even if you don't know the exact name, you can usually find what you're looking for in a few minutes. I used to hate going to a home improvement store and having some 18-year-old kid look at me like an idiot because I didn't know what a shim was. In addition, the shipping speed of Amazon is great. I just love it.

Ok, hot topic here. It takes about 5 times to get used to, but once you, ummmmm "freshen up" with a bidet, you'll be uncomfortable going without one. The $40 will easily save us $80 in toilet paper a year so this is an investment.
It took about 20 minutes to install. Making sure you have the right tools is essential to making this go fast.

Yes, we have all seen loofahs for $1 at the grocery store, Target, Walmart, and everywhere essentially. But those loofahs last a month and then its in the trash they go. You could argue and say its only $1, but I'm weird and get attached to loofahs.
These loofah's last and this is the second time I have bought them. They hold a good lather, they exfoliate, and they feel like they actually work and don't just fall apart. At $10 for 4, they're worth the extra $1.50.
I was recently on a flight that didn't have a plug socket but had USB ports instead to charge devices. Now usually this is not an issue but it was a 5-hour flight and we were delayed on the tarmac for 1 hour.
With all the entertainment being available on your phone now, and being without a book, it was either use my phone or sit there and do nothing. I used my phone to watch a movie. The problem is, my charger is USB type C, the oval one, and not the square one. So you know where this goes, I had to shut my phone off at 15% so I could call an Uber when I landed. I did some quick research and came across these. At $6 for a 4 pack, they're tiny, and now there's one in my purse, backpack, duffle bag, and the car-just in case.
I bought this as a gift for a friend's daughter because it had the nicest cover of all of the coloring books of horses. Well, my friend called me 2 days later and asked where I got the book from because her daughter cannot put the book down. In fact, she loves the images so much that she doesn't want to color it to "ruin them." She's 6.
So this review is partially hers and her parents' more than it is mine. Let's just say they love the book. Who knows, I might pick up one for myself down the line. After all, the book says it will help Adults relax and boost creativity, that sounds like something all of us could use, am I right?
